why we have decided to license our technologies to OEM and Reseller.
A variety of different options provide license scenarios that
are cost effective tools to get your own branded products to market
fast. In addition you can hire development resources from us to build

FLEXiON / EPSiON Customization:
We
can customize our SmartClient software to almost any Linux compatible
x86 HW platform. Customization
cost (if any) depends on project size. If you have special Thin Client
project that go beyond standard Thin Client configurations you are at

Licensing
of NETiON, FLEXiON, EPSiON and CXC
High Volume reseller (HVR) can now license our SmartClient SW to build
their own Thin Client series or
Network Appliances. With the licensing we provide maintenance services
to keep the system up to date. If needed we can provide training and
development support. This is an HVR's dream come true. By allowing HVRs
to
license our SmartClient SW HVRs gain the
flexibility to offer customized solutions to their customers without
ever having to develop a single line of code. The
licensing terms are kept flexible and are negotiated on a case by case
bases between the HVR and SmartFLeX Technology to take all aspects of
the HVRs business needs into account.
Development of embedded Linux
Appliances:
We
can build upon our SmartClient FLEXiON SW to
create almost any imaginable Linux Appliance on any Linux compatible
x86 HW platform. Our proven SW stack provides us with a rapid
development tool that allows you to get new products to the target
market fast and cost effective. We can accommodate high and low volume
license commitments equally well and our terms and prices
are realistic and fair.

available as
independent products. These SmartClient Flash Modules will allow YOU to
build YOUR own Linux based Thin Clients and SiLENT-PCs. This avoids the
commitment scenario that is essential with OEM licensing of a
customized solution or our factory system.
