SmartFLeX Technology is a company with a long Linux and Thin Client history.

In 1994, SmartFLeX Technology released the first Network Terminal based on an embedded Linux OS. Over the years, SmartFLeX Technology transformed itself into a business, supporting and promoting a Server Centric Computing Paradigm with a focus on Linux, Unix and Windows Terminal Server based Operating Systems. SmartFLeX Technology is a small dynamic high tech company, with a modern and flexible working environment.

Software Developer for (embedded) Linux Projects (Ref.# DEV21508)

Location: International
To support our headquarters in USA and Germany with the development of software for Linux based Thin Clients, Linux Terminal Servers and our Virtual Thin Client Platform. Good understanding of Linux, Linux Networking, C++ and Scripting Languages. Accepted applicant can be located local, within the continental US or Germany. Communication with company headquarters in US and Germany will be established via broadband Internet connection. Availability of DSL or Cable is a mandatory requirement. Occasional travel may be required. Interns and project based developers are welcome to apply as well.

All positions require excellent English language skills. Other language skills (German in particular) are a plus.
