EPSiON is
an ideal solution for a locked down Linux PC for office, schools,
children and
teens, giving total "parental" control on what user can or cannot do
with their PC. All the functionality needed to conduct
mandatory Internet research, e-mail, writing reports, creating
spreadsheets to track music CDs and school projects is available. File
format compatibility with
Microsoft Office documents is included to allow easy swapping of files
with school computer systems via USB flash media.
Software options are avaialble, allowing EPSiON
to
participate on a network to access the resources of a Linux server
or a Windows Terminal Server. The optional integrated VNC and rdesktop
(RDP)
clients allow to deploy EPSiON as a simple Thin Client.
