OPTiON is a Virtual
Thin Client solution for the Linux Workstation Desktop.
Compatible with GNOME and KDE it provides a single application to
connect to all major free and commercially available terminal server
environments. All client sessions are centrally configured and managed.
All configured client sessions are presented and executed from within a
central launcher. OPTiON
eliminates the need to purchase an additional terminal emulator suite.
A well respected and powerful commercial terminal emulator suite and
RDP Seamless Applications technology are integrated into the OPTiON software.
The combined cost for a commercial license is less than licensing all
commercial modules (Ericom Powerterm and Remoteview) individually from
their respective manufacturer. And best off all, the server module for
RemoteView (RDP + Seamless Applications for Windows Terminal Server
2000/2003) is included
free of charge.
OPTiON puts
an end to individually downloading, compiling, installing,
configuring and administering available Thin Client modules. OPTiONs`
functionality and client availability, as well as its integration into
the Linux Desktop, goes well beyond available open source solutions. It
provides a commercially supported and maintained purely software Thin
Client solution for Linux Systems.
A sophisticated installation and licensing module will assure that OPTiON
can be installed easily and safely on all supported Linux distributions.
OPTiON is
available in single user licenses and corporate licenses. Customized
server licenses can be made available also.
